The hotel room was nicer than expected, conveniently close to restaurants and a Walmart. However, it had a dead cockroach in it and was very hot and stuffy initially, taking half the night to cool down. Additionally, there were noticeable issues like mold in the shower ceiling, carpet stains, ratty linens, wall scratches, and a smoke detector covered with a plastic bag from a previous smoker in our non-smoking room.
